Candy Claws
CC lives and records in Fort Collins, CO. Members include Ryan Hover, Karen McCormick, and Kay Bertholf. Their debut album "In The Dream Of The Sea Life" struck the hearts and ears of internet music dorks, and they have been riding a residual wave of praise since. Their sound and their aesthetic is familiar and unique; they smoosh Pet Sounds harmonies through Animal Collective gurgle and approach the aftermath with naivety and wonder. Their music is both classic and totally modern.

You Be You
Taking a step away from the Appalachian Freak folk temporarily. I'm going to be building up my electric guitar sound inspired by surf rock artists such as early Growlers and Thee oh Sees. Looking for recommendations for pedals ( primarily reverb tremolo and something to add a little mud to the mix). I'm from east coast USA, so I'm thinking with my interpretation I could make it less California sunshine and surf boards with guitars vaguely reminiscent of Spaghetti Western soundtracks... and maybe something more colonial like something George Washington could cross the Delaware River to. Hope you have a nice day!more
